Seven Decades of Financial Leadership
Kerala Financial Corporation (KFC) is the premier public sector financial institution in the state, established to accelerate industrial growth and foster entrepreneurial excellence. Incorporated on December 1, 1953 , under the State Financial Corporations Act of 1951, the institution began its journey as the Travancore-Cochin Financial Corporation.
Following the reorganisation of states and the subsequent formation of Kerala in November 1956, it was rechristened as the Kerala Financial Corporation. Today, the Corporation is 99% owned by the Government of Kerala.
